The benchmark margin percentages for commercial recruitment agencies facilitating specialized interim/freelance placements in the Netherlands range between 20% and 30%.

We apply margins for entrusted partners ranging from 12,5% to 20%, depending on the number of mediations realized per calendar year.:

Temp-to-Perm Margins

The benchmark margin percentages for Temp-to-Perm and Contract-to-Hire are challenging to compare to ours due to significant variability influenced by factors such as the duration of the temporary period (e.g., 900 hours, 1,800 hours, or 3,600 hours), associated risks, and costs. However, they typically fall within the range of 30% to 70%.

For our entrusted partners, the maximum margin will be capped at 37.5%, while the minimum margin will be set at 15%.

During the temporary period, the hourly rate charged is generally aligned with that of a seconded employee, with the eventual employee’s salary always communicated in advance.

The benchmark margin percentage for permanent employment mediations in the Netherlands range is 25%.

Our margins vary between 17,5% and 25% depending on the number of realized mediations per calender year.:
